A motorcyclist led deputies on a chase through east Bexar County overnight that reached speeds of 125 miles an hour, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
It started when police in Converse tried to pull over the biker for a routine traffic violation at Loop 1604 and FM 78,
The motorcyclist sped away, and that's when Sheriff's deputies got involved. A DPS helicopter was also called in to follow the suspect with a spotlight.
After about 45 minutes, the suspect stopped at a home on Pioneer Point, which is off Walzem Rd, and ran inside.
Deputies surrounded the home, entered through a back door, and handcuffed the 28 year old suspect.
They then discovered why he fled. Deputies say there were several outstanding warrants out for his arrest.
He didn't make things any easier for himself. In addition to those warrants, the man is now facing charges of felony evading arrest.
