A flash flood watch has been issued for parts of the Hill Country and the Edwards Plateau until 1 pm Saturday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
While the metro San Antonio area is still expected to get 1 to 3 inches of rain this weekend, parts of the Hill Country could get up to 6 inches, leading to significant street flooding.
The rain is accompanying a cold front which will bring San Antonio the coolest temps we have seen since June, with highs only in the mid to high 70s and lows in the 60s.
