Hurricane Florence is steering farther south as the monster storm continues its march toward the Carolinas and Virginia. Florence remains a Category 4 hurricane with sustained winds above 140 miles an hour. Forecasters aren't certain where Florence will hit when it comes on shore late Thursday or early Friday. North and South Carolina and Virginia are all under hurricane warnings and more than a million people are ordered to evacuate. Florence is expected to bring life-threatening storm surge to the coast and heavy rains that could trigger deadly flooding inland.
