The Angels used eight pitchers as they bullpenned their way to a 1-0 shutout of the Rangers in Anaheim. Los Angeles took a no-hitter into the eighth inning before Isiah Kiner-Falefa broke up the bid with a single. Neil Ramirez got a team-high five outs to pick up his fifth win. Ty Buttrey finished the game out for his second save. Jose Fernandez's first-career home run was the only offense the Halos would need. Adrian Sampson took the tough-luck loss. The rubber match of the three-game series is on Wednesday.
