The Dallas Cowboys open the regular season on the road as they visit the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. After off-the-field issues derailed his sophomore season, Ezekiel Elliott is back and ready to run for Dallas. The new-look Cowboys must replace veterans Jason Witten and Dez Bryant in their offense. Cam Newton leads Carolina into a new year following a wild card loss to New Orleans last season. He looks to return to MVP form when he guided the Panthers to the Super Bowl in the 2015 season. Pro Bowler Luke Kuechly is back to lead the Carolina defense.
