Three Dodgers hit solo homers to back seven shutout innings from Alex Wood in a 3-1 win over the Rangers in Arlington. Cody Bellinger, Manny Machado and Yasmani Grandal all reached the seats as Los Angeles won its fifth in-a-row. Wood allowed just four hits for the win. Kenta Maeda gave up a run in the ninth before posting his first save. The Dodgers remain one game behind Arizona for the NL West lead. Mike Minor took the loss as Texas dropped its fourth straight. Adrian Beltre doubled home the Rangers' lone run in the ninth.
