Leaders of social media giants including Facebook, Twitter and Google are expected to take part in hearings on Capitol Hill next week. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg are confirmed for the hearing on foreign influence in the Senate Intelligence Committee next Wednesday. Larry Page of Google's parent company Alphabet has also been invited. Both Twitter and Facebook have recently announced that they disabled accounts from Iranian actors conducting influence campaigns. President Trump has also recently accused social media companies of being biased against him.
