Marwin Gonzalez homered, had two RBI, and scored two runs as the Astros knocked off the Angels 8-3 in Anaheim. Yuli Gurriel also finished with two RBI for Houston, which has won four in-a-row. Justin Verlander tossed six innings of three-run ball to get the win as the Astros improved to 79-and-50. Houston will go for the series sweep on Sunday. Shohei Ohtani homered for Los Angeles and Andrelton Simmons had an RBI-triple in the losing effort. Jaime Barria gave up four runs in three frames to take the loss. The Angels have dropped five in-a-row.
