A 28 year old woman was killed today when her pickup truck slammed into a utility pole on FM 725 just east of Fisher Park, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the woman was driving down the road about 3AM when she saw the green light change to red.
She slammed on her brakes, but lost control of her F-150, skidded out of control, and slammed into the metal pole that was holding the traffic light.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the vehicle.
