Marwin Gonzalez drilled a three-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth inning as the Astros snuck past the Giants 3-1 in San Francisco. Charlie Morton worked seven innings of one-run ball in a no-decision. Roberto Osuna got the win in his Astros debut after being acquired from Toronto before the trade deadline. Hector Rondon notched his 12th save. Dereck Rodriguez fired seven shutout innings for San Francisco. Will Smith blew the save and took the loss. Brandon Crawford homered in defeat.
