A two alarm fire early Saturday badly damaged an apartment complex near Ingram Park Mall, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The first company on the scene reported heavy smoke and flames in one building at the Stony Brook Apartments on Border Brook St, which is near Wurzbach and Ingram.
A second alarm was immediately sounded and at one point, 35 fire units were on the scene,
Most of the residents of the complex had already been alerted by smoke alarms, and all other people who had not been evacuated were ledto safety.
It took fire crews more than an hour to put out the flames.
Nobody was injured.. Arson investigators are on the scene to determine the cause of te fire.
