Marwin Gonzalez hit two solo home runs as the Astros pounded the Mariners 8-3 in Seattle. Jake Marisnick launched a two-run shot and Max Stassi tacked on a three-run blast for Houston. Dallas Keuchel fired seven innings of three-run ball to earn the win. The Astros now hold a five-game lead over the M's and A's atop the AL West. Wade LeBlanc allowed seven runs and took the loss for Seattle. Nelson Cruz homered in defeat. The Mariners are A's are tied for the second AL wild card spot.
