A dead man was found overnight inside a home on East Houston Street jut east of the Alamodome, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police discovered that the man had been shot to death.
They were told that the dead man was a home invasion suspect who had been shot by people inside the house, but they are also investigating to determine whether the dead man may have been the innocent victim of the home invastion.
Detectives say they were not getting much cooperation from anybody who was inside the home at the time.
