A man is in custody after leading DPS troopers on a high speed, two county chase early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
An officer attempted to pull over the man on a motorcycle for speeding in Kendall County about 2AM.
But the man sped away, with DPS and other officers right behind.
He led police on a wild chase down I-10 into San Antonio, where he got of at DeZavala Road and drove to Network Blvd, where he jumped a curb and skidded into a tree.
That's when troopers realized why he had run. The motorcycle he was riding was stolen.
The suspect, in his late 20s, was booked for speeding, evading arrest, and possession of a stolen motorcycle.
