The Bexar County Sheriff is looking for a man it refers to as a possible child predator in connection with an attempt to kidnap a 13 year old girl on a far west side street Monday, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Deputies say the girl was walking home when the man approached her on a bicycle and attempted to grab her and pull her into a nearby wooded greenbelt.
The girl struggled and an adult noticed the altercation and spooked the wanna-be predator, who released the girl and pedaled off on his bike.
Deputies scoured the area but could find no trace of the man.
The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
