Woman Suffers 'Symptom' at Sea World, is Hosptialized

A woman was rushed to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital where she was listed in serious condition after suffering what EMS called a 'symptom' on a water ride at Sea World San Antonio's Aquatica Park Sunday night, officials tell News Radio 1200 WOAI.

Sea World described the woman as suffering a 'personal health issue.'EMS says the woman was given CPS at the park before being rushed to the hospital.

"The safety of our guests and ambassadors remains our highest priority," Sea World said in a statement.

Paramedics who were on the scene stressed the woman's 'personal health issue' had nothing to do with the ride, which transports guests in a tube over and through waves.

It's been a rough couple of weeks for Sea World.  Last Sunday night a little girl was killed when she broke away from adults and was hit by a pickup in the Sea World parking lot.
