Rangers Hold Off Twins


Robinson Chirinos homered and drove in three runs as the Rangers topped the Twins 9-6 in Minneapolis.  Adrian Beltre also went deep for Texas as it built a 9-2 advantage in the fourth inning. Yovani Gallardo  pitched into the sixth and gave up four runs to pick up his first win  of the season. Keone Kela locked down the save.  The Rangers have won a season-high seven in-a-row.  Twins starter Jake Odorizzi was chased in the second inning after giving up six  runs.  Eddie Rosario and Logan Morrison homered for Minnesota, which  lost its third straight.
