From the National Weather Service:
Increasing tropical moisture will bring the chance for locally heavy rainfall to most of South Central Texas, but especially the Coastal Plains.
Threats & Impacts:
Rainfall Accumulation Through Thursday: Less than 1 inch west of Highway 83, 1-3 inches for the I-35 corridor, and 3-5 inches for the Coastal Plains. Isolated locations could receive 7 inches (mainly in the Coastal Plains).
Timing and Overview:
A tropical disturbance will bring a chance of decent rainfall to the area beginning today with the highest coverage expected Monday night through Wednesday. While significant flooding is not expected due to dry antecedent conditions and breaks in activity, minor flooding is possible in areas that pick up the isolated higher totals. The potential minor flooding threat will be highest Tuesday and Wednesday The disturbance is expected to exit the region by Thursday.
