A man was rushed to the hospital after he was found shot in the back seat of a car driving down West Ave at I-10 on the northwest side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the victim opened the back door of the car at the stop light and tumbled out onto the street. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, bleeding from two gunshot wounds to the back.
Detectives say the man was shot in an altercation several blocks away in the parking lot of the West Avenue Apartments.
Witnesses said the victim and the suspect each pulled guns and started shooting.
The suspect ran away. Its not known whether the other man was shot.
