A 10 month old girl is in critical condition after her mom found her face down in a bathtub early today at their home on Cable Ranch Rd, on the far west side, police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI. Police got a call from a frantic woman at the City Trails Apartments, who claimed her baby wasn't breathing.
The mom told EMS that she was bathing the little girl and left the room to get a towel and the baby's clothes.
When she returned the baby was face down in the water and was not breathing.
The baby was rushed to University Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
