San Antonio Police are investigating a scary shooting on the city's north side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
A woman was driving down Loop 410 near Harry Wurzbach in her SUV when suddenly she came under fire.
Even though she was hit multiple times, the woman managed to maneuver the SUV off of the highway and into the parking lot of the Astro Super Bowl in the 3200 block of Harry Wurzbach, where one of the other two people inside the vehicle called for help.
EMS rushed her to the hospital where she was reported in critical condition.
There were seven bullet holes found in the side of the SUV. The two other people inside the vehicle were not hurt and are being interviewed by police.
Officers don't know whether the woman as targeted by a gunman, whether somebody shot at her SUV thinking he was shooting at somebody else or, in the scariest of possibilities, that somebody opened for at random on drivers on a busy highway.
