Argument at North Side Bus Stop Prompts Stabbing

For the second time in two days, an argument between two men in a public place has ended in a serious stabbing, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say two men were at the bus stop on Basse Rd. west of Blanco about 10:30 Sunday night when, for some reason, the men began exchanging words.  Police don't think the men knew each other.

One of the men, in his thirties, then pulled a knife and stabbed the other man, in his twenties, in the chest.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs, suffering from a serious stab wound in the upper chest.

The other man forgot all about the bus, and ran off on foot.Police don't know what prompted the argument.
