The Texas chapter of Moms Demand Action hosted a rally on Saturday to honor the lives lost from gun violence in the last year.
Hundreds showed up at the Alamo Beer Company in San Antonio for the “Wear Orange” rally.
"Together, gun owners, non gun owners, educators, parents, law enforcement and we pledge to come together to reduce or end gun violence in our community," Becca Defelice with Moms Demand Action said.
San Antonio police and Bexar County Sheriff's Department officials were on hand for the event. Congressman Joaquin Castro was among those to speak.
