The Warriors overcame a masterful performance from LeBron James to grab a 124-114 overtime win against the Cavaliers in Game One of the NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena. Cleveland guard George Hill missed his second free throw that would have put the Cavs up one with less than five seconds left in regulation. J.R. Smith dribbled out the clock by mistake after grabbing the offensive rebound. James scored a Finals career-high 51 points to go with eight rebounds and eight assists in the loss. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson each hit five threes as Golden State pulled away, outscoring the Cavs 17-to-7 in OT. Curry finished with 29 points and nine assists, while Kevin Durant scored 26. Draymond Green filled up the box score with 13 points, 11 boards, nine dimes, five steals and three blocks. Game Two is Sunday in Oakland.
