All Clear Sounded at Boerne Middle School South Following Threat Scare

It seems like this kind of thing is happening almost every day.

News Radio 1200 WOAI reports Boerne Middle School South had to be placed on a 'soft lockdown' today.

Boerne ISD officials say it began with the discovery of some ammunition on campus.

She says the school has completed an investigation and 'has determined there is no threat to campus safety at this time.'

THIS IS AN E-MAIL SENT TO PARENTS:


Dear Boerne Middle School South Parents, 

This morning six rounds of ammunition was found on our campus. 

Administration and Boerne Police were notified. 

Boerne  Police have begun an investigation, and our campus is currently on a  soft-lockdown. 

For the safety of all students and staff, please remember  that when a campus enters into a soft lockdown, students cannot enter or leave the campus  until further notice. 

We ask for your cooperation as parents as we move  through the proper protocol for this situation. 

We will communicate updated information as it becomes available
