A man in his fifties was killed overnight when he was hit by a car on Culebra Road, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Witnesses told police the man crossed Culebra at Benrus, which is just west of St Marys University, then turned and crossed back.
Thats when he was hit by the vehicle, which stopped and the driver called 911. MS attempted to save the life of the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges will be filed.
