The Rangers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second inning and held on for a 6-4 win over the Yankees at Globe Life Park. Jurickson Profar hit a three-run homer in the first inning and Ronald Guzman also went deep for Texas. Cole Hamels struck out seven over seven innings of four-hit, two-run ball for the win. Keone Kela collected his ninth save as the Rangers ended a three-game slide. Domingo German [[ hair-MAHN ]] didn't survive the fourth inning and took the loss. Gleyber Torres, Miguel Andujar and Austin Romine all homered for New York.
