Reynaldo Lopez fired eight shutout innings as the White Sox blanked the Rangers 3-0 in Chicago. Lopez struck out eight, walked two and allowed two hits as the White Sox clinched the series at home. Welington Castillo homered for Chicago, and Leury Garcia added a two-run single. Jace Fry earned his first career save. The South Siders upped their record to 13-and-30. Mike Minor struck out nine over five innings of three-run ball to take the loss for Texas. The Rangers were 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and fell to 18-and-30.
