Texas Lt. Governor: Santa Fe Strong, But Hurting After Shooting

The community of Santa Fe, Texas, is very strong, but obviously hurting following Friday's school shooting.

On CNN's "State of the Union," Texas  Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick says several things need to happen to  address gun violence and it needs to start at home.  Gun ownership comes  with responsibility of gun control in your home.  Patrick wants to make  sure kids and grandkids cannot get access to their parents' guns.

Patrick also wants teachers to be armed and trained on how to handle  an active shooter situation. Patrick wants schools to get down to one  or two entrances.  He wants students to be funneled through those  entrances so eyes can be put on them.  Patrick adds too many people can  get onto school campuses with guns who aren't deterred and detected.
