Man Stabbed in Overnight Argument

A man in his forties is in critical condition after he was stabbed, allegedly by a buddy, as he walked down a southwest side street, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The two men were walking down the 7800 block of Airlift, near Lackland AFB, shortly after midnight, when one of the men began giving the other man a rough time.

Police say when the man who was being harassed stopped to confront his friend, the other man pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.  

The suspect was arrested on the scene and will face an aggravated assault charge.

No word on what the argument that sparked the shooting was about.
