Authorities say at least 20 people were injured after a fire at a chemical plant in Pasadena, Texas. Reports say a valve malfunctioned causing an explosion and a fire this morning at the Kuraray America EVAL plant. About 250 employees were inside the facility at the time of the incident, but a company spokesman says everyone is accounted for now. Fire crews were able to put out the fire pretty quickly, however at least 20 workers suffered burns and were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening and a shelter-in-place order wasn't issued. Kuraray America, Inc., which is a Tokyo-based company, produces dental, fiber, resin and elastomer products.
