Ageless wonder Bartolo Colon put together nearly eight shutout innings as the Rangers quieted the Mariners 5-1 in Seattle. Colon gave up just four hits and no walks over seven-and-two-thirds to get the win. He turns 45 next week. Delino DeShields broke a scoreless tie with an RBI double in the eighth and Texas tacked on four more in the ninth for a 5-0 lead. Kyle Seager homered in the bottom half for Seattle's lone run. Christian Bergman allowed two hits over seven shutout innings in his first start of the season. James Pazos took the loss.
