NBC is picking up the show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and fans are ecstatic. A day after Fox announced they were ending the Andy Samberg police sitcom, NBC stepped up and said they would pick up the series for a sixth season. In a statement, the chairman of NBC Entertainment said, "Ever since we sold this show to Fox I've regretted letting it get away, and it's high time it came back to its rightful home." The show has drawn in a dedicated fan base since its debut in 2013. Fox apparently dropped "Brooklyn" to make room for other shows, causing a widespread uproar.
