Police in San Marcos today arrested two women in connection with two armed robberies in the city, and say they are suspects in multiple armed robberies over the past two months, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say Jennifer Grabs, 29, and Rosalinda Rodriguez, 34, stuck up the Day's Inn on I_35 in San Marcos twice in a span of less than two weeks.
In both cases, detectives say one of the women claimed to be renting a room, and then the other would enter, jam a gun into the face of the desk clerk, and demand money.
Police say they have received information that the same pair could be responsible for armed robberies in Bastrop, Georgetown and Round Rock.
They are held in the Hays County jail on $200,000 bond each, charged with Aggravated Robbery.
