Three U.S. citizens detained by North Korea are back home in the U.S. They landed shortly before 3 am Eastern time at Andrews Air Force Base where President Trump, the First Lady, Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence were on hand to greet them. Their release was secured by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as he visited the country to shore up the details of a planned summit between Kim Jong Un and President Trump. Of the three now-former prisoners, businessman Kim Dong-chul had been held the longest, since October of 2015.
