The Bexar County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in solving the bizarre disappearence of a north side man, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Scott Mayer, 47, a long time employee of the North East ISD and a prominent athletics coach, drove away from his home near 281 and Evans Road last Wednesday, and has not been seen since.
Deputies say Mayer was driving a grey 2010 Ford Escape with a license number of BB2 6128.The car has a Johnson High School swimming decal with the name 'Macey,' and on the right side trunk door is a silver Texas Longhorns decal.
Deputies say they're not ready to make a ruling on whether foul play may have been involved.
They say attempts to reach Mayer by phone or e-mail have been unsuccessful.
