Fiesta 2018 ended poorly for one parade participant when he was run over by a Fiesta float just north of downtown early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The man in his fifties was riding on the back of the float when he apparently fell off and ended up under the float at St. Mary's and Camden Streets, just north of downtown.
Police say the man was dragged for about two blocks before the float driver realized there was a problem.
He was rushed to the hospital with multiple injuries and was listed in critical condition.
