Tom Brokaw is firing back against sexual harassment allegations made by former NBC news colleague Linda Vester. In a letter published yesterday, Brokaw described Vester as a "character assassin" with a "grudge against NBC News." Vester accused Brokaw, the former anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News," of harassing her in the early 1990s. In the letter, first published by "The Hollywood Reporter," Brokaw compares Vester's statements to the press to "a drive-by shooting." Vester left NBC in 1999 for a job with Fox News.
