Free Pizza and Beer for Life...if Kawhi Returns to the Spurs

San Antonio based Freetail Brewing Company has an offer Kawhi Leonard can't refuse, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Owner Scott Metzger says he will offer free beer and pizza for life, if Kawhi remains with the Spurs for next season and beyond.

Metzger says the Freetail family is all Spurs fans, and they want the franchise to continue its winning ways.

"We kind of look around at what is happening, with fans being upset, and we want to put that behind us and welcome home our star player," he told News Radio 1200 WOAI.

Metzger says the drama that has surrounded Leonard during the just completed season is 'very un-Spurs like,' and he thinks Spurs fans are proud of the level of professionalism that the team has been able to uphold over the last several decades.

"Most of our crew, myself included, are lifelong Spurs fans, and we want to do what's best for the team."

It could be a good omen.  Freetail extended similar offers to Tim Duncan and LaMarcus Aldridge, and, although neither of them took Freetail up on their offer, both returned to the team, and he says it has been seen as a 'gesture of support' that most fans can relate to.

"While he might not take us up on the offer, we just want Kawhi to know that we really love our team, and that we understand what he and his teammates mean to the continued success of the team."
