Former Sheriff Nominated to be U.S. Marshal

Former Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau was nominated today by President Trump to become the next U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Pamerleau, a Republican, served one term as sheriff.  She was defeated in 2016 by Democrat Javier Salazar.

Pamerleau is also a retired Major General in the U.S. Air Force, serving 32 years in the Air Force, where she retired as the Director of Personnel Force Management.

Pamerleau is also a former Senior Vice President of USAA.

Pamerleau is a graduate of the FBI's National Executive Institute and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wyoming.
