A northeast side man is hospitalized with non life threatening wounds following a bizarre shooting this morning.
Shortly before 11, Jarrit Marcile, 32, was riding his bike down the 5700 block of Midcrown when he noticed a car parking along the curb in his neighborhood.
As Marcile watched, he told police the car started driving toward him, and the occupant started shooting at him.
Marcile was shot in both legs and was rushed to SAMMC in stable condition.
The car sped away.
The victim told police he had never seen the car or the occupant before and had no idea why somebody would want to shoot him.
So far, detectives have no motive and no arrests.
