A family argument is blamed for a stabbing that left a 46 year old man in critical condition early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the 46 year old man got into an argument with his nephew in a home on Ruiz Street on the west side.
To try to stop the argument, a relative of the victim pulled a knife and intervened, stabbing the victim multiple times.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.
The family member who did the stabbing was arrested, but so far, charges have not been announced. And yes, police say alcohol was involved.
