Andrew Triggs pitched six strong innings as the Athletics held off the Rangers 3-2 in Arlington. Triggs struck out six while allowing just four hits and a walk for his second win. Mark Canha homered, and Jed Lowrie and Matt Olson each added RBI doubles for Oakland. The A's have won four straight and eight-of-nine to improve to 13-and-11. Adrian Beltre went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the loss. Cole Hamels gave up two runs over six-and-a-third innings to fall to 1-and-4 for Texas. The Rangers have dropped five-of-six to fall to 8-and-17.
