Another Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Deputy Margie Miranda, 61, a 34 year veteran of the department, was arrested by San Antonio Police early this morning on a charge of drunk driving.
Deputy Miranda, who is assigned as a court bailiff, is charged with one count of driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
She has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal case.
She is the latest in a series of Bexar County deputies who have been arrested for various crimes in the past several weeks.
