Argument in North East Side Gas Station Leads to Shooting

An argument inside a northeast side gas station led to a shooting in the parking lot early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say a man in his twenties and a man in his late fifties exchanged words inside the Exxon Station at I-35 and Rittiman about 12:15 AM.

When the older man walked out of the gas station the younger man followed him and shot the older man twice.

He was rushed to SAMMC in critical conditon.

The younger man scampered away and police are still looking for him. It's not known what prompted the argument.
