Its happened again...homeless bums are blamed for setting a fire that badly damaged a west side home overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
By the time firefighters got to the home in the 1200 block of Valencia, which is in the Edgewood neighborhood, flames were already shooting out the back of the house.
Nobody was hurt, but firefighters found evidence that vagrants had been squatting in the home.
Homeless people and drug users have been blamed for several fires at vacant homes in the city in the past couple of years. They squat inside the homes, especially on chilly nights, and light fires inside to keep warm.
