A man was found sprawled in the parking lot of the Motel 6 at Hot Wells and I-37 on the city's southeast side early today, bleeding from a bullet to the head, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
EMS rushed the victim to SAMMC with no vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say the man had been lured to the motel by a woman. As he was standing in the parking lot talking to the woman, her two friends emerged, robbed the victim, and then shot him twice.
The three suspects jumped into a car and sped off. They remain on the loose.
