Local attorney George Salinas is giving Manu Ginobili a very public boost, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Salinas has taken one of his law firm's billboards on I-35 not far from the AT&T Center to put up a message reading 'Uno Mas Manu.'
"Its gonna be a tough series, obviously, but Manu embodied what San Antonio is all about," he said.
Salinas says the entire town loves Manu, and loves what he has meant not just to the Spurs but to the city over the years, and he wanted to declare his support as well.
"Had some billboards up around town for my business, so I decided to take one of them down and put one up supporting Manu, send him a positive message."
Salinas says 'uno mas' can be read two ways, to bring 'one more' NBA championship to San Antonio, or to encourage the 40 year old to play for 'one more' season has he considers his future.
"Supporting him right now, but also letting him know that we appreciate what he does, and would like to see him for another year."
The Spurs take on Golden State tomorrow night in the critical Game Three of the Western Conference playoffs. The broadcast is on 1200 WOAI Spurs Radio with Bill Schoening, tip at 8:30 from the AT&T Center.
