Officers Taze Suspect After Being Attacked With Beer Bottles

San Antonio Police had to use their Taser early today after finding themselves under attack--from beer bottles

Police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI the bizarre incident started when a man walked into a Valero store in the 7000 block of South Zarzamora and bought beer.

The man paid for the beer and left the store, but for some reason he returned and started yelling the employees.

They called 9-1-1 and when police officers arrived, the man began throwing beer bottles at the officers, and then physically attacked them.

The officers were able to get out their Tasers and zap the man, but it took a sedative injection from EMS to get him into an ambulance.

He was rushed to the hospital and will face multiple charges.

The officers were not seriously hurt.
