A man in his twenties has died after he was shot several times as he walked through the parking lot of a strip mall on the north side at closing time today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say it happened at Blanco and General Krueger, which is near Basse Rd.
Police don’t know what the motive may have been, but they did say it does not appear to be a ‘random’ shooting. The victim was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition, and was pronounced dead at the hosptial.
Police on foot and in the Eagle police helicopter scoured the area but did not find any suspects.
